Teaching more of the word of God and less of the word of man.

Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.- Matthew 23:12

We believe the word of God. We believe both the Old and New Testament of His word. We believe in the importance of spiritual wealth and health.

When did the bible stop being enough? Today’s battle is over the sufficiency of God’s word. So many false doctrines. So many variations of the bible. We are told in Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32, Revelation 22:18 do not add unto the word of God do not diminish the word of God. We also know when someone says in a direct quote outside of scripture “god told me to tell you…” (and yes there is lowercase for a reason) there is no such thing. According to Hebrews 1:1-3, Jesus is the final word of God. While He may order our steps and put someone on our hearts, He does not create new scripture through us or any man. One of the most argued topics outside of the sufficiency of God’s word, is prosperity. One side says money is evil and is perceived as gloom and doom gospel. The other side is the word of faith, prosperity gospel, worldly/social gospel preaching give give give and you will be disease free and wealthy. We believe the word of God. We believe both the Old and New Testament of His word. We believe Obedience is not convenient. We ask, " Why the lack of discernment?"

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (KJV) 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Merriam Webster defines prosperity as “the condition of being
successful or thriving…” So what does the Bible mean when it says that God wants to prosper us? 3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you would prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” So, the number one aspect of prosperity starts in our soul. God wants our soul to prosper. He wants our mind, our will, our emotions to be healthy, to be sound, to be successful. As we arrive at His purpose and destination in our soul and in our emotions, we will arrive at His purpose and destination in every other area of life as well. So, the clearest definition of prospering means to achieve and to arrive at the destination that God has for you.

Focus on the importance of spiritual wealth and spiritual health!

It is our belief that per John 10:10, “The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy,” Jesus said, “but I have come that they would have life and have it in abundance.” God wants us to experience abundant life. Now abundant life doesn’t mean that we should be seeking and pursuing wealth. But rather it means that we should be seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness, according to Matthew 6:33. And he says, “and all these things shall be added to you.” Being wealthy is not the problem. But pursuing wealth is!

7 Habits of Highly Effective Christians

Prosperitology is not to be confused with "Prosperity Theology" or the "Gospel of Wealth".

"Prosperity Theology"

(sometimes referred to as the prosperity gospel, the health and wealth gospel, or the gospel of success) is a religious belief among some Christians, who hold that financial blessing and physical well-being are always the will of God for them, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one's material wealth. It is based on interpretations of the Bible that are traditional to Judaism (with respect to the Hebrew Bible), though less so in Christianity. Prosperity theology views the Bible as a contract between God and humans: if humans have faith in God, he will deliver security and prosperity. The doctrine emphasizes the importance of personal empowerment, proposing that it is God's will for his people to be happy. The atonement is interpreted to include the alleviation of sickness and poverty, which are viewed as curses to be broken by faith. This is believed to be achieved through donations of money, visualization, and positive confession. We believe this is achieved through living in God's will.

"The Gospel of Wealth"

, is written by Andrew Carnegie and describes the responsibility of philanthropy by the new upper class of self-made rich. Carnegie proposed that the best way of dealing with the new phenomenon of wealth inequality was for the wealthy to redistribute their surplus means in a responsible and thoughtful manner. This approach was contrasted with traditional bequest (patrimony), where wealth is handed down to heirs, and other forms of bequest e.g. where wealth is willed to the state for public purposes. Carnegie argued that surplus wealth is put to best use (i.e. produces the greatest net benefit to society) when it is administered carefully by the wealthy. Carnegie also argues against wasteful use of capital in the form of extravagance, irresponsible spending, or self-indulgence, instead promoting the administration of said capital over the course of one's lifetime toward the cause of reducing the stratification between the rich and poor. Do not confuse the word "Gospel" with any biblical association. This is the "word" of man not God.
